Futebol online streaming

Top 10 Football Streaming Sites for 2021

Top 10 Football Streaming Sites for 2021

Modern-day technology has ensured many wonderful things, and watching sports without a television is just one of those.

And football is undoubtedly the most-favoured sport going, with millions of people now relying on streaming services in order to get their daily dose of the action. Fortunately, there are countless broadcasters who have taken this into account, offering their services for either free or a small fee.

Only the top live football streaming sites out there fulfil their legal requirements by obtaining their right to broadcast the sport, and here we take a look at the top ten currently available.

In order to access live streaming, the punters will need to log in to Bet365. To use the Live Streaming service you will need to be logged in and have a funded account or to have placed a bet in the last 24 hours.

1. Sky Sports

Sky Sports is arguably the UK’s top football broadcasting service, with both English and Scottish domestic action continuously available week after week. There is, of course, the added bonus of extremely reliable servers and easily navigated menus.

Over ten channels are available with certain subscriptions, with live football, rugby, cricket, golf, tennis and boxing all among the favoured sports. It’s also the home of Formula 1, while catch-up and highlights are also on offer.

2. ESPN

Another hugely popular platform, and another that has a particular focus on football. The high definition events are available via participating TV or internet providers, such as Cox, Hulu, Sling TV, DIRECTV and Verizon among several others.

Even without this connection, there are still a whole host of free, up to date services available, including news, highlights, scores, commentary and the latest trending videos. Football, tennis and basketball are covered in-depth, as well as the lesser-spotted WWE, MMA, horse racing and eSports.

3. BT Sport

Launched in 2013 and based at Queen Elizabeth Park in east London, the self-proclaimed ‘Heart of Sport’ broadcast a wide range of sports including rugby union, UFC, boxing and MotoGP, with millions of customers nationwide utilising these services.

Much like Sky, BT Sport features the English and Scottish football calendars heavily, but differ thanks to their exclusive deal with UEFA which sees them broadcast all Champions League and Europa League matches.

4. Hotstar

Indian-based subscription on-demand streaming service Hotstar – a subsidiary of the Walt Disney Company – offers TV and film entertainment, but also boasts a dedicated sports section. Cricket, football and hockey dominate the schedule.

Hotstar comprises both free and paid content, the latter accessed via its sports-only package. Geographical location restrictions often present an initial challenge to access the content, but this can be overcome through the use of a VPN or proxy to unblock the restrictions.

5. DAZN

DAZN first launched in Austria, Germany and Japan four years ago, but has since expanded to a global audience, with customers in the US, Canada and Brazil now making use of their live and on-demand sports streaming services.

And just like its location expansion, DAZN has also increased its offerings to football and several American sports, having solely operated in fighting sports. As an added bonus, the service usually offers a first-month-free option, allowing consumers to then decide if they will follow through with a paid subscription going forward.

6. Bet365

The online bookmaker unsurprisingly made a name for itself within the realm of sports betting, but recent developments have seen Bet365 offer live streaming to its loyal customers.

The live streaming platform is available for punters with a funded account, or those logged in who have placed a bet in the last 24 hours. Consumers can then place live bets, cash-out and make use of the innovative Bet Builder feature that is so prevalent in today’s sports betting world.

In order to access live streaming, the punters will need to log in to Bet365. To use the Live Streaming service you will need to be logged in and have a funded account or to have placed a bet in the last 24 hours.

7. beIN Sports

Qatar-based beIN Sports comprises a global network of channels, most notable for its live football streaming services. The company currently operates in countless countries including the UK, USA, the Middle East, Australia and Thailand among many others.

It holds the rights to broadcast the majority of the major club and country football competitions including the Champions League and the European Championships, and boasts many former professionals among their commentary and punditry teams, including Gaizka Mendieta, Robert Pires and Eric Abidal.

8. Amazon Prime

Very new to the world of football streaming, Amazon Prime has slowly but surely become an important name in the industry. A simple Prime log-in is all that is required to get going, with the content available on TVs, tablets, phones and laptops.
Like last season in the English top-flight, Amazon Prime will once again be the exclusive broadcaster for several Premier League matches in the near future. It boasts 23 exclusive games this season, including all ten fixtures from both December midweek rounds.

9. fuboTV

American streaming service fuboTV delivers original content to mobile phones through its smartphone app, focusing on channels that distribute news and entertainment, but primarily sports, mainly MLS, as well as basketball and NFL.

It is another service that offers a trial period before a potential upgrade to its premium content, while the servers in USA and Canada mean that a VPN is necessary to enjoy the live football streams.

10. YouTube

An online video sharing giant, Google-owned YouTube is another late arrival to the world of live sports streaming, but they have already hosted some hugely important fixtures in Spanish, Russian, US and international football.

Subject to geographical restrictions, the events are made available on the platform by official rights holders. Most notably perhaps are BT Sport, whose deal with UEFA obliges the UK broadcaster to air the Champions League and Europa League finals for free, with YouTube their preferred medium.

Netflix fecha parceria com TV francesa e oferece pacote com futebol

Netflix fecha parceria com TV francesa e oferece pacote com futebol

Types of Football Live Streaming

There are two ways you can watch football on the internet legally. Below we have described them and everything you need to know about using them.

Watch Football on Bookmaker Live Streaming Feature

The first kind of streaming you can watch is via a bookmaker platform, which is the better option if you enjoy sports betting. You won't have to pay any fees to view the available streams because you only need one of two requirements – a placed wager within the last twenty-four hours or a positive cash balance in your account.

One thing you may not like regarding the bookmaker live streaming platform is that you can't go into full-screen mode, and you will have to enjoy the event without it so you can have better access to the live markets below the stream itself. To avoid cheating, bookmakers need to delay the stream with at least thirty seconds.

The stream itself is high-quality and all the bookmakers on our list offer their customers to watch it on both their desktop and mobile platforms. What we mean by the mobile platform are the mobile site and the mobile app. Considering you don't have to pay any subscription fees watching football matches this way might be cheaper, but that mainly depends on whether you are a punter. If you are, this would be beneficial because you would have access to streams from the bookie itself, and you won't have to pay any additional fees.

If you aren't a punter, you can still use the bookmaker platform, but as we said before, you have to have a positive balance in your account. This means you will have to deposit at least once and maybe even place a wager within twenty-four hours of the stream you want to watch depending on the platform's specific conditions.

Streaming Platforms in the UK

You can pay a subscription fee to a streaming service and watch football matches on their platform. You should research if the streaming service gives you access to the programs that have media rights to broadcast football matches. There are usually monthly or annual subscriptions, and they are different for each country.

For the UK, we listed the most popular streaming platforms in our list below, but depending on the football event itself, other less popular options like YouTubeTV, Amazon Video Prime, cable channels like Eurosport, and others. The fees related to the subscription are different, but, of course, if you choose to subscribe for a year, the charges would be considerable. Streaming platforms often offer bundles and promotions as well, and if you subscribe via those promos, you can get a significant discount if you are lucky.

In the UK, we all love a bit of football. However, it can often be the case that we don’t get to watch much of it through mainstream TV. This is mainly due to the fact that larger TV companies have purchased the rights to competitions such as the Barclays Premier League, and unless you’ve got a deal with BT Sport or Sky, you might have a hard time in trying to watch the games. But there’s a way that you can get around these problems – just look for a site that offers live streaming services.

This is primarily what we will be taking a closer look at in this post, and by the end of it, you will have a pretty good idea of where you can watch live football, sometimes for free! We will be getting to all of that in good time, but first and foremost, it’s important that you know what events to try and look for in the first place.

With football being one of the most popular and most-viewed sports in the world, there are thousands if not millions of people that are looking for ways to watch games online today. In fact, people aren’t just looking to watch games online, they are looking for ways to do this which are cost-effective, legal, and perhaps most importantly, are of good quality. It can be a little tricky to find streaming providers that fit all of these criteria in 2021 , but that’s why this post has been created.

We wanted to put together an article that will highlight some of the best places for you to live stream football games if you are based in the UK, and full details of this can be found throughout this post. So, if you’re ready and eager to find out where you can watch top-tier football online today, just read on.

As promised, we will be showing you where you can view football online in 2021. If you are not too familiar with the options that we give to you right here, don’t worry, for they are all relatively simple to use and it’s very easy to get signed up with them. Without further ado, let’s check out these streaming providers right now.

YouTube

There’s a fairly high chance that you’ve come across YouTube at some point in your life. Whether you have used YouTube to watch your favourite cat videos or used it to watch sports highlights, you will be all too aware of the sheer depth and quality of videos that YouTube providers. However, many people are still not aware that YouTube is actually a great platform to watch live sport at times.

Sure, YouTube probably isn’t the best site if you want to catch tonnes of football action each season, but it’s always a good option to have in the back pocket if you are struggling to find the right streaming service. With that said, since it is super easy to live stream games with YouTube and with the fact that it is completely free, we just had to include YouTube in this list of where to stream online football games.

Benefits of choosing YouTube

There are several benefits to using YouTube to live stream sport. First of all, YouTube is a completely free video streaming service, unless you pay for the premium version that is, which only works as an ad-remover service. So, with that said, providing that you can access YouTube through your email account, you’ll be able to watch football games without paying anything at all. To add to these benefits, the streaming quality for the games is generally very good, and you can alter the quality of the stream to suit your home internet speeds.

Alternative sites

Aside from sports betting sites and Amazon Prime, there is a whole range of third-party sites that you might want to look into to live stream sports. Now, you have to get a little creative with some of these, as many of them are overseas-based sites that often require you to be based in the US or Canada for example. So, as you can imagine, you might need to get yourself hooked up with a VPN so that you can access the sites in the first place.

There are many VPN providers these days, as it happens, and the cost can be as low as £5 per month for a reliable one. By having this VPN, you can then go ahead and sign up with third-party sites in America, where the rights are much more relaxed for European football, especially when you compare them to the UK. This is a great way to get around the restrictions in place in the UK, where companies like BT and Sky almost have exclusive rights to broadcast certain events.

Online sportsbooks

In the UK, there is an absolute sea of sports betting sites out there today. The UK is actually one of the hottest markets for sports betting in the entire world, which is why there is such a great supply of them in the first place. Live streaming isn’t something that is a brand new feature of online sportsbooks either – it has been around for several years already. With that said, it can be costly for online sportsbooks to strike up streaming deals with the relevant entities, which is why you will only really find decent streaming services with the top brands in the UK market.

If you performed a quick Google search, you’ll then discover loads of betting brands out there, but there’s obviously the chance that some of them won’t support streaming. Therefore, if you’re going to choose an online sportsbook to stream games, you may as well choose a recommended provider (more on this later).

Benefits of choosing an online sportsbook

This is our preferred method for online football streaming in 2021 , and there are plenty of reasons why. Firstly, online sportsbooks are legally operated in the UK, so when you sign up and watch a game, you are doing so within the boundaries of the law. In addition to this important factor, we should also note that online sportsbooks generally offer a fantastic selection of football games for you to watch, with the exception of prime time Premier League games.

The final benefit of choosing an online sportsbook is that it is free to watch the games, and a stream can be initiated with just the push of a button.

Amazon Prime

Amazon Prime is the premium version of having a regular Amazon account, and in our opinion, it is well worth the upgrade. By choosing to get started with Amazon Prime, you will not only be giving yourself access to express delivery on items you might actually want to buy online, but you will be receiving access to a decent selection of streaming services for sports. At the time of writing, Amazon definitely seems to provide more live streaming opportunities for tennis over any other sport, but it is adding more and more football games to its streaming calendar each year.

In fact, over the last Premier League season, members of Amazon Prime were able to watch more than 5 Premier League games, with some of the top teams involved. Obviously this isn’t the widest selection, but as we have mentioned previously, Amazon is making a real push to add more football events to its line-up. The cost of Amazon Prime is a monthly fee of just £8.99 per month, which is even less if you are a student.

If you really want to check out the service before signing up, which is understandable, Amazon is giving new customers a 30-day free trial of the service.

Benefits of choosing Amazon Prime

With Amazon Prime being one of the best ways to watch sports online today, there are obvious benefits of choosing this service. The first of these benefits is the relatively low cost for the quality of streaming that is on show here. At just shy of £9 each month, this is one of the cheapest options to stream football online today. On top of this, when you do choose to watch a football game with Amazon Prime, the quality is just awesome.

It’s almost like watching the games in HD through a mainstream TV provider, and of course, you can access your Prime account through your mobile if you want. This means that if a game is available for you to watch, you can go ahead and sign in to watch it from wherever you might be at the time. This gives you complete freedom of location when watching the top football games in the world.

Our suggestion – use an online bookmaker

When you weigh up the benefits and cost of each of the methods that we have identified above, we believe that an online sportsbook is the best choice. This is because there can be hundreds of football events to stream each year through these platforms, the games are free to stream, and the quality is decent. When you roll all of these factors into the same site, it’s hard to find a reason not to sign up with them.

As promised, we will now share with you some of the top online sportsbooks that you should consider signing up with in 2021. These brands have all been tried and tested, so you have nothing to worry about concerning their legal status or quality. Please see the list of our recommended sites below to get things started.

Bet365

Bet365 is one of the most advanced betting sites in the UK, truly. This site has a huge sportsbook along with great odds, but from a live streaming point of view, there are tonnes of options open to you if you decide to sign up with bet365. With hundreds of football games for members to watch each year, along with the fact that bet365 has one of the best mobile apps you can stream games from, it’s definitely a site that you should check out.

Bet365 is already home to thousands of members in the UK, and while it doesn’t have any Premier League games to watch, you can watch games from loads of other leagues and competitions from around the globe.

William Hill

William Hill is one of the longest standing bookmakers in the UK, and in 2021 , they now have a wealth of streaming options open to players. William Hill might not offer as many games to stream as bet365 does, but it’s still one of the most reputable and trusted betting sites to register with these days.

Ladbrokes

Finally, Ladbrokes is a great site for live streaming. In fact, this site is a bit of a football betting specialist, so as you can imagine, it covers hundreds if not thousands of high-profile football games each year through its platform. Providing that you’ve got some money in your Ladbrokes account, you can stream as many games as you wish.

Major competitions to look out for

If you are going to be live streaming football through an online provider, then it is only logical to know what events you are looking out for. This is what we will be discussing in this brief section, and of course, what events you ultimately decide to watch is entirely up to you.

Premier League

The Premier League is arguably one of the most competitive football leagues in the world. With teams such as Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester United, and Manchester City all involved in this league, the standard of football is some of the best that you can possibly find, at least on a domestic level. The Premier League typically runs from August through to May, with 38 total games taking place each season.

Champions League

While the Premier League might be the most competitive domestic league in the world, the Champions League is the biggest event for when these clubs go and compete with teams from other nations. The Champions League really is the one that players, clubs, and managers alike all want to win, and the competition takes place throughout the season. It starts with a group stage round robin, then teams will advance into the knockout stages and ultimately look to reach the final, which takes place in May of each year.

Euro Championships

This tournament takes place once every 4 years, with the next one scheduled for 2021 due to the global disruption of late. In this event, the very best international teams in Europe come together and battle it out for the trophy, with teams like France, England, Germany, Italy, and Spain all involved.

FA Cup

Coming back to England now, the FA Cup is the largest knockout tournament that is held in England. It’s always a great event to watch, with top-tier teams battling it out with lower-level teams to start with before the tournament finally reaches its conclusion at Wembley Stadium. This one really gives an insight as to the difference in quality between teams in England, and upsets can happen, which just makes it even more exciting.

Copa America

The Copa American is basically the Euro Championships equivalent in South America, with teams such as Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, and others fighting for the title. This tournament gives a chance to watch some silky South American skill on display, not to mention the passion that each team has to win.

Other top-tier European leagues

Finally, make sure you keep an eye out for other domestic leagues from around Europe as the action can be just awesome. In particular, we would encourage you to watch out for leagues such as the German Bundesliga, La Liga (Spain), Ligue 1 (France), and Serie A (Italy). Within these leagues, you can find players such as Lewandowski, Ronaldo, Neymar, and other high-profile players.

Quem assinar o plano vai ter direito a assistir a Premier League, a La Liga, a Liga MX, Ascenso MX, Holandês, Português, Belga, Copa del Rey, EFL Champions, Nations League, Brasileirão.
